Which devices does it run on? +
ComandaPro is a program for PCs running 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. It does not run on phones, tablets, Macs or in the browser.
How do I install it? +
Download the installer from the Download page, run it and follow the steps. On first start you are asked for your license code.
Do I need internet? +
Only to activate the license. After that ComandaPro keeps working offline: the license is checked again as soon as the connection is back. If the PC stays offline for too long, the program asks you to connect for a new check.
Can I use it on more than one PC? +
Yes, with one license per PC. Each computer keeps its own data: orders, customers and menu are not shared between PCs.
Which printers are supported? +
Thermal receipt printers (ESC/POS) installed in Windows with their driver, for example Epson, Xprinter and Munbyn. You pick it in the program settings.
Where is my data stored? +
On your venue's PC. Customer details are encrypted and an automatic backup is created every day in the Documents\ComandaPro Backup folder (the last 30 days are kept).
What if I change PC? +
Write to us: we release the license from the old computer so you can activate it on the new one. To move your data, copy the latest backup to the new PC.
Windows says it protected my PC: is that normal? +
Yes, it happens with programs downloaded from the internet. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
